Energy Champions

2015 sees the launch of the latest CAUK BESN Energy Champions. Through the Big Energy Saving Network CAUK have provided Energy Champions for a large number of organisations across England for several years, helping to tackle fuel poverty and reduce the impacts of cold, damp homes on the health and wellbeing of the vulnerable members of our communities. Energy Champions deliver training to your frontline workers and advice to individuals on a range of energy related issues such as understanding a fuel bill, how to save money through switching supplier, improving efficiency of the home and the impact behaviour change can have to reduce consumption while maintaining a warmer home use, helping several thousand households to be warmer, more comfortable and healthier.

CAUK have worked with the Department of Energy and Climate Control and National Energy Action for many years to help fight fuel poverty.
