Assertive Communication

By the end of the workshop the attendees will leave with the knowledge necessary to practice more assertive communication, helping you to negotiate more effectively with everyone you interact with.

Effective Presentation

The Training Day will look at all the aspects necessary for a successful presentation.

As part of the day delegates will plan, rehearse and deliver a 5 minute presentation on a subject of their own choosing helping them to build on presentation technique and confidence.

An Introduction to Project Management

The day provides a great introduction to project management enabling delegates to pick up good practice, tools and frameworks for good organisation, time and their own project management.

Selling

Although many in the sustainable development sector tend to be uncomfortable with the notion of “selling”, it is an essential skill if you want to do more than just convince others of your ideas or projects but to also “buy” into them. Particularly useful to any of you who are building partnerships, client base or looking to “sell” the project to potential funders.

At the end of the workshop attendees will have the knowledge necessary to develop a more successful selling technique to further their opinions, service or product.

Analysing Behavioural Patterns

This course is designed to provide you with a basis for recognising personality types and a means of understanding the behavioural patterns that are associated with those types. It explains a lot about how we are who we are and why we behave the way we do.  Even more importantly, it starts to explain how we form our views of other people too.

Communicating Sustainability

Communicating Sustainability is an interactive workshop. It will give you the opportunity to try out a variety of ways to communicate your messages about a sustainable future and your own project. You will learn different ways of promoting and ‘selling’ a sustainable idea, concept or product and see how this translates into your own project.

Delegates will develop knowledge and skills needed to effectively promote Sustainable Development in their work and personal environments.

Leadership (run on demand)

By the end of the workshop delegates will have examined in detail the factors that contribute to effective performance in a leader/supervisor role. Delegates will examine the duties and role of a supervisor and how their individual job description fits these duties.
 

Train the Trainer (run on demand)

This 2 day course will introduce you to the principles of making an effective training presentation with an introduction to the skills of planning and presenting training sessions.  The workshop encourages delegates to pick up good practice and technique as well as the opportunity to put theory into practice by creating and running their own workshop.
