We are always exploring new and innovative opportunities to add value to our Skills Development Programme and have recently partnered with DotCoach CIC, a Social Enterprise that offers young careerists 1:1 Professional Coaching.
Professional coaching is regarded as the highest level of personal development. It is a 1:1 relationship most effective during times of transition. Its many benefits include employee readiness, resilience, confidence & engagement and we are now able to offer this service to our Change Agents.
Each Change Agent will be paired with a coach who, over a period of 3 months, will use observation, questioning, listening and feedback to create a conversation rich in insight. They will develop a greater clarity and appreciation of their own circumstances and create new ways to approach challenges and achieve goals.
The coach will initially work with the Change Agent and their Line Manager to set development goals that will have an impact on their working environment; following on with 6 private coaching sessions (an hour every two weeks) to work towards the goals.
Professional Coaching is commonly only a luxury afforded to senior leaders... but not anymore. We are part-funding the coaching to allow us to provide this service to clients who buy a 12 month support package, for an additional £100, it is also available to our network of early careerists as a stand-alone package. Commercially, the coaching package is worth £1,250 (as per Association of Coaching average rates for coaching within an organisation).
